A Moment of Clarity (While Riding a Broken Bike Up A Hill)
So I had a moment of clarity while riding my bike this morning. Wait, riding my newly broken bike up a hill. So I'm a fan of the scientific process. Through observation you make a conjecture and then from there a hypothesis based on other observations (that's the watered down version). So the first time my bike broke I observed that the tire was rubbing against the frame thereby inhibiting the wheel from spinning. So based on what I saw I fixed it. Now what bugged me about that was how did the wheel get like that in the first place. I mean how did my wheel get like that. Well this morning I think I might have figured out the reason. It seems as though the right nut on my back wheel likes to go loose. When this happens it causes my back wheel to angle in on the left side of the frame in turn making the bike useless again. So now I know I almost know why the bike isn't working all I need to figure out is why the right nut on the back wheel sometimes goes loose.

If you have a file, file down the nut and the area where you fasten it. It should help it from coming loose in the future.
