Literary Craving

So about twice a week at the beach I see an old man (a different one each time) who reminds me of Hemingway. Today I saw another one and this time it hit me. His image bored its self into my brain and gave me such a craving to read Hemingway it's the only thing I could think of all day.

Portfolio Take II

So after the 30 something hours I put into designing and building my portfolio site the base was complete. So I took it to friends for some criticism. One friend who will go unnamed, JON NEW :P, said that he kind of felt like he had seen this before. Which, sadly, I totally hands down agree with. It's been done. So since it's been done and since I can't get that thought out of my head I'm scraping the site. So long site and with that it's back to the drawing board. DAMN YOU JON NEW ~Shakes fist at the sky~

So do to the fact that my computer cannot handle working in Flash 8 I've had to reconceptualize my portfolio website (for now, as soon as I get a new computer I'm going to finish the flash site). So goodbye flash and hello CSS and images. The following is the basic site right now SITE. I know the bottom image is a little off and is slightly shifted to the right. So gimme input if anyone still reads this thing.

So last night we took Mark out for some fun before he is to get wed. One of the things we ended up doing was singing some karaoke. In the midst of some dudes terrible rendition of "When September Ends" Chris Wylde gets up on stage and starts to sing with him wasted. Now for those of you who don't know who Chris Wylde is he was the guy who threw up on himself in the plane in Space Cowboys and he had a small bit in Coyote Ugly. What he's most known for is a) He was in the comedy central show "Strip Mall" and b) Later comedy central gave him his own talk show. The random people you see out on a Saturday night in LA.
